About Head Lice
Head lice are a common ailment faced by parents of school age children.
These small, blood-sucking, wingless insects are spread from hair-to-hair contact with a person who is infested - or (most likely) by sharing hats or hair bands.
It is important to know that head lice have nothing to do with cleanliness - or uncleanliness - as anyone can get them at any time if they have come in contact with the insects.
If you have found head lice or nits (eggs) in your child's hair, it is best to seek treatment immediately. You can discuss your options with the team at your local Terry White Chemists - we can help you select an appropriate treatment and advise on other measures you can take to keep your family protected.
