About Pain & Fever
Fever usually happens when the body's temperature is higher than normal due to a viral or bacterial infection.
If your child is showing the signs and symptoms of fever - hot to the touch, complaining of feeling unwell, sweating, shivering or a flushed face - you will want to take action quickly to ease their symptoms and bring their temperature back to a comfortable level.
If you are worried that your child has a fever, stop by your local Terry White Chemists.
Our pharmacists can help you select a reliable thermometer to measure your child's temperature - and if they do have a fever, we can also advise on over-the-counter treatment options, including children's paracetemol and ibuprofen.
